Horse rugs, saddle pads and other everyday equestrian textiles need regular washing. Their size and the dirt they collect can make this difficult at home.
At Club Hípico Astur, our equestrian laundry uses industrial washing and drying equipment, with products suited to caring for these materials.
The service is open to any owner. You do not need to be a CHAS member or keep your horse at our facilities.
What can you bring?
Your horse’s everyday textiles, provided they are suitable for machine washing.
Other equestrian textiles are welcome too. If you are unsure about a particular item, please check with us before bringing it.

Industrial washing and drying
A horse rug’s bulk and the dirt collected in the stable or during exercise can make domestic washing and drying impractical. We use an industrial washing machine and dryer for this service.

Before bringing your items
Do I need to be a CHAS member?
No. The service is available to any owner, even if you are not a club member and your horse is not stabled here.
Can I bring any horse equipment?
We wash rugs, saddle pads, numnahs, bandages, protective boots, ear bonnets and other equestrian textiles suitable for machine washing. Please ask us first if you are unsure about an item.
Should I contact you before dropping items off?
Yes. Please contact us in advance to arrange delivery and find out when your items will be ready to collect.
